Onyewu and Edu in Europa League Round of 16

The Round of 16 of the Europa League kicks off today with big matches for Oguchi Onyewu and Maurice Edu.
FC Twente host defending Russian champions Zenit St. Petersburg this afternoon, having dispatched another Russian side, Rubin Kazan, in the last round. Oguchi Onyewu spoke with us earlier this week about his time on loan with FC Twente and his outlook on the upcoming schedule with the U.S. National Team.
Meantime, Rangers travel to Eindhoven to face PSV in the first leg of their series. The teams have an interesting history. There were also be a special guest returning to his old stomping grounds as three-time World Cup veteran DaMarcus Beasley has hopped in his car to make the relatively short drive from Hanover. Beas has history with both clubs, having reached the semifinals of the UEFA Champions League in 2005 with PSV and also having played 10 matches in the tournament with Rangers. He won domestic championships with both clubs and plans to remain neutral during the series.
